Max Chapman was a stellar defensive end for the Nease Panthers where he earned the Character, Strength and Honor award. He then moved on to play defensive end for the Northwestern University Wildcats where he was awarded the team's traditional #1 jersey, emblematic of the values and the character of the Northwestern football family. He received the Big-Ten Sportsmanship Award and was an Academic All Big 10 honoree. He graduated in June with a degree in communications studies, is married and is serving as a missionary for the Fellowship of Catholic University Students at the University of Nebraska.
Lucas Crowley. Lucas is a graduate of Nease High School and the University of North Carolina. He was a staring center for the Panthers and then for four years for the Tar Heels where he received numerous ACC accolades He recently signed a contract with the NFL’s Washington Readskins, the first former JDL player to do so. 
Nick Singleton starred for four years on the defensive line for the Ponte Vedra Sharks. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the US Army where he served a tour in Helmand Province, Afghanistan as an infantryman, an mk19 (automatic grenade launcher), a m240b (big machine gun) and a TOW missile) gunner. A specialist, soon to be sergeant, Nick is currently stationed at Ft Drum and will begin training to be an Army Ranger shortly.

Brogan Warwin--Brogan is a graduate of Ponte Vedra High School where he played on the defensive line for the Ponte Vedra Sharks varsity football team all four years of high school. He is currently a student at Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) and has made the President's List in his first two semesters. He is pursuing a degree in Automotive Technology. When he is not attending school, Brogan works full time at Ponte Vedra Outdoors in the Bait & Tackle shop. Brogan also spends time with Faithful Servant Missions where he has twice travelled to the Bajo Tejares district of San Ramon, Costa Rica on mission trips--as recently as June of 2017. This very poor community of displaced Nicaraguans and Costa Ricans is rife with poverty, drugs, violence and despair. Brogan is serving this community by providing a wide range of educational, recreational and spiritual opportunities for children and families there who have fled their own war-torn countries. His missionary work is having a major impact on their lives of the families he serves.
Keegan Warwin--After playing four years for the Ponte Vedra High School Sharks varsity football team as left offensive guard, Keegan went on to play college football at Florida Institute of Technology in their first-ever DII football program. He started several games at left guard and had the opportunity to play in Cowboy Stadium in Dallas. With his help, the Panthers played in their first ever bowl game. He graduated from FIT in May of 2017 with a Bachelor in Science degree in Business and Sports Management. Keegan will attend the Police Academy in July of 2017 and upon completion of the academy, he hopes to be employed with one of the local beaches Police Departments or with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
